When it comes to RFID (radio frequency identification), everyone has heard of it more or less. And NFC (near field communication) is actually a derivative technology based on RFID. Although many people often confuse the two concepts, in simple terms, NFC is like the “close-range communication expert” in the RFID family.
In RFID technology, the derived products are mainly divided into three categories:

According to the working mode of RFID tags (Tags), they can be further divided into passive, active, and semi-active. Among them, the most common are passive products.

Flexible partitioning: Data can be classified and stored according to different needs, such as access control permissions, consumption records, identity recognition, etc.
UID unique number: Each card has a unique global UID (manufacturer segment), which cannot be changed, improving the security and identification accuracy of the system.

Each sector is equipped with an independent password system (KeyA/KeyB).
The password is combined with access control permissions to set which content can be read, written, or not operated.
The data has strong anti-tampering and anti-copying capabilities, suitable for application scenarios with high data security requirements.
Follows the ISO/IEC 14443A standard and is compatible with most 13.56MHz read-write devices on the market.
Contactless reading and writing can be achieved without dedicated hardware, which is convenient for rapid deployment and integrated use.

Access control card: Write access control permissions, swipe the card to enter.
Consumption card: Such as campus cards, canteen cards, store balance and consumption records.
Transportation card: Swipe the card to pass through subway and bus systems.

Contactless operation: Just approach the card reader to complete the operation—simple and convenient.
Long service life: No built-in battery. The service life can generally reach 10 years, supports 100,000 times of erasure, and the number of reads is almost unlimited.
